AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC (SSW)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Must be 20–35 years old.
• Applicants must qualify under either of the following categories:

For Completed TITP II or TITP III:

• Must have completed Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) II or TITP III in a relevant automotive-related field.
• Must possess a Level 3 Certificate or an Evaluation Certificate.

For Skilled Test Passers:

• Must have passed the Prometric Skilled Test for Automobile Repair and Maintenance under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program.
• Must have passed either the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4 or the Japan Foundation Test for Basic Japanese (JFT-Basic).
• Must have relevant automotive mechanical knowledge and practical skills.
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing automotive repair and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical problems in automobiles.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Examine engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify defective or worn-out parts.
• Repair, replace, and adjust automotive parts and mechanical components as necessary.
• Use diagnostic tools, automotive equipment, and specialized repair instruments.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
• Follow workshop safety procedures, technical standards, and company regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the assigned work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Certificate of employment (COE) (photocopy & original)
