AUTO PAINTER

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Skilled in the proper use of spray guns and painting equipment.
  • Knowledge of waterborne and solvent-based paint systems.
  • Experience in automotive painting, surface preparation, polishing, and finishing is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, hardworking, and committed to producing high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, removing rust, filling dents and cracks, and masking areas that should not be painted.
  • Mix and match paints accurately to achieve original colors or customized finishes.
  • Apply paint using spray guns and other appropriate painting techniques.
  • Polish, buff, wax, and perform touch-ups to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish.
  • Inspect painted surfaces for defects and make necessary corrections or refinements.
  • Clean and maintain spray guns, painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Monitor and organize paint and chemical supplies while following proper handling and safety procedures.
