Auto Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as an Auto Mechanic.
• Technical or Vocational Certificate in Automotive Technology, Automotive Servicing, or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical repair procedures.
• Experience using automotive diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, steering, suspension, and electrical system problems.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Must possess a valid passport with at least 2 years of remaining validity.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced automotive workshop.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues on passenger vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacement, brake servicing, and fluid checks.
• Repair and replace defective components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering components, brakes, and exhaust systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle faults and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Conduct engine tune-ups and routine servicing to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Test vehicles after repairs to verify proper operation and quality of workmanship.
• Maintain accurate service records, repair reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate repair findings and maintenance recommendations to supervisors.
• Perform other automotive repair and maintenance duties as assigned.
