Perdaman Global Services is seeking skilled and experienced Auto Glass Technicians to perform the installation, replacement, repair, and calibration of automotive glass for various vehicle types. The successful candidate will ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with industry standards while delivering high-quality service.

AUTO GLASS TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Holder of at least a one-year Vocational Certificate or equivalent qualification in Automotive Servicing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience as an Auto Glass Technician or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in automotive glass removal, installation, and repair.
  • Knowledge of specialized adhesives, glass replacement techniques, and industry safety standards.
  • Experience in calibrating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after windscreen replacement is an advantage.
  • Ability to use automotive glass repair and installation tools and equipment effectively.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Remove damaged or broken automotive glass, including windscreens, side windows, and rear glass.
  • Install and fit new windscreens using specialized adhesives, tools, and installation techniques.
  • Repair minor chips and cracks using resin injection methods to prevent further damage.
  • Calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including cameras and sensors mounted on the windscreen, following glass replacement.
  • Inspect vehicle glass and related components to ensure proper fit, alignment, and functionality.
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and safety procedures during glass installation and repair.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
  • Complete job documentation and report any additional vehicle damage or repair requirements.
  • Provide quality workmanship while meeting productivity and customer service standards.
  • Comply with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
