AUTO ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Age: 25 to 40 years old.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience as an Auto Electrician or in automotive electrical repair.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle electrical faults and wiring problems.
• Familiarity with batteries, alternators, starters, lighting systems, fuses, relays, and electrical circuits.
• Ability to use automotive electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on automotive repair work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a professional automotive team.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive electrical and electronic problems using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Inspect vehicle electrical systems, wiring, connections, batteries, and electrical components.
• Repair, replace, and maintain faulty electrical components and wiring.
• Install, repair, and maintain vehicle lighting systems, including headlights, signal lights, brake lights, and interior lights.
• Inspect and service vehicle batteries, alternators, starters, and charging systems.
• Diagnose and repair starting and charging system problems.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, fuses, relays, switches, and connectors.
• Inspect and repair wiring harnesses and electrical connections.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic control systems and related vehicle components.
• Use multimeters, scanners, circuit testers, and other automotive electrical diagnostic equipment properly.
• Perform preventive electrical maintenance and routine inspections.
• Install and maintain automotive accessories and electrical equipment when required.
• Conduct electrical system tests after repairs to ensure proper vehicle operation.
• Follow technical instructions, repair procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, parts, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly handle automotive tools, equipment, batteries, electrical components, and related materials.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and proper electrical safety practices.
• Coordinate with mechanics, technicians, supervisors, and other workshop personnel.
• Perform other automotive electrical repair and maintenance duties as assigned.
