Auto Electrician

We are hiring experienced Automotive Electrician to join one of our clients in Australia. As an Auto Electrician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems in various vehicles. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing complex electrical issues and providing effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Automotive Electrician
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, electronics and control systems
  • Experience in repair or replace electrical wiring/components on various type of vehicles
  • Air-conditioning system experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Documents to support your visa application (passport, police clearances, employment evidences including reference letters, salary evidences such as pay slips or government contribution records, and school records)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Good English communication skills

Responsibilities:

Common tasks that you may have to perform include:

  • Using test equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions
  • Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components
  • Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles
  • Connecting power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to power supply
  • Adjusting engine control systems and timing
  • Testing and replacing defective alternators, generators, voltage regulators and starter motors
  • Repairing and replacing faulty ignition and electrical wiring
  • Replacing defective parts such as fuses, lamps and switches
