ASPHALT PLANT SUPERVISOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience as an Asphalt Plant Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt plant operations, production processes, and equipment maintenance.
- Experience supervising plant personnel and coordinating daily production activities.
- Familiarity with asphalt batching systems, quality control procedures, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Ability to read production schedules, maintenance records, and operational reports.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Physically fit and willing to work in an industrial or construction environment.
- Willing to work extended hours, shifts, weekends, or overtime as operational requirements demand.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operation of the asphalt plant to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor asphalt production schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Supervise plant operators, maintenance personnel, and other production staff.
- Monitor the quality of asphalt mixes and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment, machinery, and production processes.
- Maintain production records, equipment maintenance logs, and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, fuel, and plant supplies, and coordinate replenishment when necessary.
- Train and guide plant personnel on operational procedures, equipment use, and safety practices.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and logistics personnel to support production and delivery schedules.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve plant efficiency and productivity.
