Accounting Staff / Accounting Clerk
Qualifications:
- Male or Female, preferably 25–45 years old.
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate or graduate of a related accounting or finance course.
- Relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration.
- Experience in payroll, taxation, financial records, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Banking experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
- Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures.
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate accounting and payroll records.
- Good numerical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions and documents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of an accounting team.
- Responsible, reliable, hardworking, and able to meet accounting deadlines.
- Willing to follow company policies, accounting procedures, and management instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate accounting and financial transactions.
- Assist with daily bookkeeping and general accounting activities.
- Prepare and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.
- Monitor invoices, receipts, payments, collections, and other supporting financial documents.
- Assist in preparing and processing employee payroll and related payroll records.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll information and supporting documentation.
- Assist with taxation-related records, calculations, documentation, and reporting as required.
- Prepare and organize financial records, accounting schedules, reports, and supporting documents.
- Perform account reconciliations and assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Verify invoices, payment requests, receipts, and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with cash and bank transaction recording and reconciliation.
- Maintain organized filing systems for accounting and financial records.
- Assist in preparing periodic financial reports and accounting summaries for management.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collection follow-ups.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, employees, and other departments regarding accounting and payment concerns.
- Ensure accounting records are updated accurately and within required deadlines.
- Assist during internal or external audits by providing requested financial records and documents.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll, financial, tax, and other sensitive company information.
- Follow company accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable regulations.
- Perform other accounting and clerical duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

- Educational credentials (diploma, form 137, TOR)
