ACCOUNTANT
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or similar fields.
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and month-end closing.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, including IFRS/GAAP.
- Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong financial analysis and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in audit and tax compliance is an advantage, with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, accounting transactions, and supporting documentation.
- Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities and ensure timely completion of financial reports.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and necessary adjustments.
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies or variances.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other accounting activities.
- Analyze financial data and ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents and perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
