3D STYRO CARVER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Proven experience in foam sculpting, carving, set design, prop making, or decorative fabrication.
• Skilled in working with EPS foam and familiar with hot wires, knives, sanders, and other shaping tools.
• Knowledge of coatings and finishing techniques, including putty and fiberglass, is required.
• Portfolio or samples of previous work are required for evaluation.

Responsibilities:

• Create and sculpt foam structures for set design, sculptures, props, architectural features, and decorative artworks.
• Shape and carve expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam into detailed and customized forms based on designs or project requirements.
• Use tools such as hot wires, knives, sanders, and other hand tools to cut, shape, and refine foam materials.
• Apply coatings and finishing materials such as putty and fiberglass to achieve the required texture, durability, and appearance.
• Interpret design concepts, sketches, measurements, and reference materials to produce accurate finished pieces.
• Inspect and refine completed work to ensure quality, detail, and proper finishing.
  Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition.
