Hoa Hiep Engineering Co., Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to lead and supervise mechanical works for steel structure fabrication and industrial equipment projects in Vietnam. The successful candidate will oversee daily site and workshop operations, ensure work is completed according to engineering specifications, and maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and workplace safety.
MECHANICAL FOREMAN
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Foreman in Steel Structure Fabrication and Industrial Equipment Works.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical fabrication, steel structure assembly, industrial equipment installation, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication details, and technical specifications.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and quality control procedures in industrial fabrication environments.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance activities for steel structures and industrial equipment.
- Lead work crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within established schedules.
- Interpret engineering drawings, fabrication plans, and technical specifications to guide mechanical work.
- Monitor fabrication, fitting, alignment, assembly, and installation processes to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, quality control, and project management teams to achieve project objectives.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and client specifications are met.
- Monitor the proper use of tools, machinery, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues on the shop floor or project site.
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare daily work reports, monitor manpower performance, and support workforce training and development.
