CENTRIFUGAL CHILLER TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Technical Diploma (ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in HVAC service (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting)
  • Experience in centrifugal chillers, air-cooled chillers, VRV/DX systems, and industrial refrigeration (including ammonia plants)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and refrigeration systems
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC controls and schematic reading
  • Ability to work independently at customer sites
  • Good communication and customer-handling skills
  • Familiarity with service reporting tools (manual or digital)
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards

Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC chiller systems
  • Service and troubleshoot centrifugal chillers and related refrigeration systems
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and refrigeration system faults
  • Work on VRV/DX systems and industrial/commercial refrigeration systems
  • Read and interpret HVAC schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Prepare service reports using manual or digital reporting tools
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
  • Provide technical support at customer sites and ensure service quality
