CAS Recruitment UK Limited is seeking experienced and skilled Painter / Decorator / Tiler to join our client’s team in the United Kingdom. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to work on residential, commercial, and refurbishment projects.

PAINTER / DECORATOR / TILER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Painter / Decorator / Tiler.
  • Strong practical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Good understanding of materials, adhesives, coatings, and tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Must have a UKVI IELTS with a minimum score of 5.5 per category.
  • Newly renewed passport ready for travel.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools and safe operation practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality internal and external finishes across various projects.
  • Prepare surfaces, including sanding, filling, patching, priming, and masking.
  • Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and specialist coatings to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and metalwork.
  • Hang wallpapers, lining paper, and decorative wall coverings accurately.
  • Carry out finishing work to a high standard with clean edges and consistent coverage.
  • Use and maintain brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other tools safely and effectively.
  • Measure, cut, and lay ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, and natural stone tiles
  • Prepare substrates, level surfaces, waterproof, and apply adhesives, grout, sealant, and finishes.
  • Ensure accurate alignment, spacing, and pattern layout of tiled surfaces in kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and wet rooms.
  • Perform general construction tasks excluding bricklaying.
  • Follow building regulations and site safety standards.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary: £3,475.00 gross per month
  • Working Hours: 47 hours per week
  • Contract: 3 years, renewable
