Conestoga Meat Packers Ltd. is seeking experienced Industrial Butchers (Kill Floor) to join its meat processing operations in Canada.

INDUSTRIAL BUTCHER (Kill Floor)

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 1–2 years of work experience in an industrial meat processing plant.
  • High School or Vocational Graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Preferably with IELTS score of at least Band 4.0.
  • Must provide a YouTube link of work demonstration videos related to butchering or slaughterhouse tasks.
  • Preferably with experience working in AA or AAA standard slaughterhouses such as Robina, JDC, San Simon, MEFI, Philmico, Venvi-Agro, Naga City Abattoir, or similar facilities.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform slaughtering and primary processing of livestock according to company procedures and industry standards.
  • Operate knives and slaughterhouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Assist in processing, trimming, and handling meat products during the initial stages of production.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools.
  • Follow workplace safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to maintain productivity and quality standards
