Services Manager (Grocery Retail)

Qualifications:

  • Substantial sales experience at an executive level.
  • 5 – 8 years experience in service industries with emphasis in wholesale of general merchandise.
  • Mature with leadership qualities.
  • Co-operation and friendly manner so as to develop good relationships with staff and clients.
  • Responsible work habits.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales or marketing OR Qualified by Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and direct grocery sales activities and staff of the trading divisions.
  • Liaise with Marketing and Grocery Buyer in regards to promotional activities.
  • Negotiate with major customers.
  • Preparation of various monthly reports to support the General Manager.
  • Chair regular sales meetings including all grocery sales staff appraising performance and directing activities.
  • Conduct market development activities.
