Generator Service Technician (Cummins Generators)

Qualifications:

• Must have a diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related course)
• At least 5 years of experience in servicing diesel engines and power generators
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing faults related to electrical or mechanical systems

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing, Repairing, and Maintaining power generation equipment at customer sites.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and complex field repairs using specialized tools and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and complex field repairs using specialized tools and procedures.
• Document all service activities, including timesheets and warranty claims.
• Train and mentor junior technicians or apprentices.
• Understanding and analyzing engine and power generation systems.
• Performing quality repairs according to safety and OEM standards.
