Meat Boner (Beef Meat Factory/Processing)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a MEAT BONER.
• Experienced boner or slicer in the meat industry
• Self-motivated, Reliable and disciplined
• Team oriented with a positive attitude and Hard working and responsible
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to do manual handling work that involves standing for long periods with some repetitive tasks.
• You must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if required
• You have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process
• Good communication skills in English. Physically fit.

Responsibilities:

• Operates switching controls to direct and drop carcasses and meat cuts from supply rails to boning tables
• Cuts meat to separate meat, fat and tissue from around bones
• Washes, scrapes and trims foreign material and blood from meat
• Cuts sides and quarters of meat into standard meat cuts, such as rumps, flanks and shoulders, and removes internal fat, blood clots, bruises and
  other matter to prepare them for packing and marketing
