Skilled Meat Worker (Beef Meat Factory/Processing)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a SKILLED MEAT WORKER.
• Must be reliable, physically fit and willing to work as part of a team
• Understand the importance of personal hygiene, attention to detail and following procedures
• Have the right to work in Australia
• Have previous knife experience
• Must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if required
• Have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process
• Good communication skills in English. Physically fit

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety and Quality procedures
• Ability to work within a team environment with the ability to take direction
• Good communication skills essential
• Demonstrated integrity and good presentation
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Performing general slaughtering / boning / slicing / sawing duties
• High focus & attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Install and use test equipment
• Perform mechanical fitting and technician tasks
• Install and configure accessories
• Assemble and disassemble heavy and mobile earthwork machinery
• Conduct diagnostic testing and test drive
• Repairing damaged equipment parts
