Telco Technician Officer (Rigger)

Qualifications:

  • Experience working on Telstra, Vodafone, Optus, Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia 2G/3G/LTE RBS/BTS equipment as well as Microwave radios
  • Able to go by client’s specifications, standards and HSE guidelines
  • Appropriately skilled with MS applications including excel and word
  • Full driver’s license. HR license desirable.
  • High Risk Work License – Minimum Basic Rigger (RB)

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret client requirements, specification, and plans.
  • Draw up design plans and all relevant technical documentation for approval.
  • For each job undertaken, review all drawings and specifications to ensure clarity in relation to where and how connectivity and installation must take place.
  • Identify risks and existing problems with the systems and incorporate improvements where applicable into the design of all installation plans.
  • Ensure regulations for use of telecommunications and network equipment is clearly assessed and is accurately translated in the design and plan.
  • Ensure adherence to client service standards as well as legislative (including OH&S) and other relevant regulatory requirements
