Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Professional Private Tutor or Teacher
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or any related field.
- Must have experience with differentiated instruction, hands-on learning activities, and adapting lessons to fit the child’s learning style.
- Excellent communication skills to work closely with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and parents to create inclusive learning environments.
- Experience with behavior intervention strategies, positive behavioral interventions, and student management for diverse learning needs.
- Patience and communication – building rapport and creating a positive, supportive learning environment.
- Can drive a four-wheel vehicle and has valid driver’s license.
- Must have documents to support visa application (passport, police clearances, employment evidence including reference letters, salary evidence such as pay slips or government contribution records, and school records).
Responsibilities:
- Planning programs of study for individual students and groups
- Preparing and presenting material on the theory of the subject area
- Instructing and demonstrating practical aspects of the subject area
- Assigning problems and exercises relative to students’ training needs and talents
- Assessing students and offering advice, criticism and encouragement
- Revising curricula, course content, course materials and methods of instruction
- Preparing students for examinations, performance and assessments
- Keeping abreast of developments in the subject area by attending professional conferences, seminars and courses, reading current literature, and talking with colleagues
- May arrange visits and tours to professional exhibitions and performances
- May organise for exhibitions or performances of students’ work
