Mechanic – Machine Maintenance

Qualifications:

• With at least 2 years work experience as a Mechanic – Maintenance in Cable manufacturing.
• Diploma or ITI Mechanics. 2 years experience in cable industry (if Diploma); 4 years if ITI. Knowledge of mechanical system , pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities:

• Attend machine breakdowns promptly, troubleshoot problems and effect repairs in a timely manner to a high standard to ensure the ongoing availability, safety and efficiency of all mechanical equipment and machinery used in production.
• Prompt response to mechanical breakdowns, assessment of problems, troubleshooting and rectification to a high standard thereby ensuring a timely and effective response to breakdowns and keeping equipment in a sound condition mechanically.

Requirements:

• Detailed Resume with job description/duties & responsibilities
• Passport valid for more than 3 years preferred (or proof of passport release)
• NBI clearance (valid or with proof of release)
• Educational credentials (diploma, form 137, TOR)
• PEOS certificate
• Vax Certificate
