PLANT MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of inspection experience, with at least 3 years directly related to supervising construction activities (preferably in oil & gas/petrochemical or power plant construction)
- University degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering major preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the team of QC inspectors for mechanical, piping, or welding activities on projects.
- Supervise subcontractors for mechanical, piping, or welding activities on projects.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Supervise the receipt of materials on site to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare ITPs, quality procedures, and documentation including inspection reports and WPS/PQR.
- Review construction method statements according to project specifications and ITPs.
- Identify and investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with quality assurance personnel.
- Coordinate with the company’s QC departments for mechanical, piping, or welding activities.
- Train quality personnel, including subcontractors, and provide guidance in performing their duties.
