Project Site Engineer
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications.
- Experience with construction software such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or Procore.
- Prior experience in large-scale commercial or residential construction projects.
- Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and green building principles.
- Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in site engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
- Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
- Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.
- Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.
- Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.
