Warehouse Manager

Qualifications:

• Must possess at least Diploma in warehousing or Logistics.
• With at least 3 years of hands-on working experience as Warehouse Manager Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Windows applications, email, Warehouse Management System (WMS) High attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations
  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
  • Develop warehouse operations systems & procedures by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping.
  • Review and prepare workflow to ensure warehouse efficiency & productivity.
  • Regularly review the use of space.
  • Ensure adequate equipment and available and properly utilized.
  • Review and develop optimal storage solutions to ensure all stock are properly categorised and displayed.
  • Ensure adequate security are in placed to minimise risk of theft, stock damage or being misplaced.
  • Review and identify any old, obsolete that can be used on projects
  • Oversee logistics to ensure there is no stock goes missing on transportation.
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.
  • Managing logistics requirements and deliveries to our sites.
  • Manage internal and external client relationships.
• Stock Management
  • Laise with each business units to ensure that their stock requirements are being catered for in the warehouse, determine the stocks items to be kept in the warehouse.
  • Ensure that the regularly used items are always available.
  • Review and recommend any stock that are obsolete to be disposed of.
  • Review and ensure any stock to be kept for maintenance department for replacements and repair.
  • Ensure consistency of the stock items and alternate products.
  • Accurate inventory control, including maintain levels of critical stock.
  • Identifying issues through regular stocktakes and effective shrinkage control.
• Warehouse Administration
  • Ensure warehouse team are adequately training in procedure, administration and WMS.
  • Ensure WMS are being used correctly and inventory are being recorded accurately.
  • Review and audit warehouse documentation to ensure paperwork are being processed accurately.
  • Review all stock adjustments to ensure all are appropriately reviewed and approved by finance team.
  • Ensure all system change to WMS software are approved and properly documented.
• Mechanic Workshop
  • Responsible for the efficiency and productivity of the workshop team.
  • Ensure all the company fleet vehicles, equipment and tools are property maintained and repaired.
  • Responsible for all spare parts inventory.
  • Oversee the usage of fuel and report any concerns.
  • Review and make recommendation of any fleet replacement or change over.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly insured.
• Human Resource Management
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the operations requirements.
  • Manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Team development and delegation through effective communication and coaching.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
