Housekeeper

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 5 years of experience in housekeeping or a similar role is beneficial.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, proper use of cleaning equipment, and cleaning agents.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving objects.
• Time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
• Dependability, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and washing surfaces to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and tidy up bedrooms to ensure a neat and welcoming environment.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors, ensuring they are well-maintained and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Clean kitchen surfaces, appliances, and countertops. Wash dishes and put them away. Organize and clean kitchen areas.
• Wash, fold, and put away laundry as required. May include ironing and handling delicate fabrics.
• Maintain organization by arranging items, organizing closets, and ensuring clutter-free spaces.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to appropriate personnel.
