Our employer Triple J Group is in need of the following:

Carpentry

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry is a plus.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to carpentry.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of and commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
• Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of materials needed.
• Cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other materials according to measurements.
• Building structures, such as cabinets, shelves, staircases, doorframes, and other wooden fixtures.
• Installing structures and fixtures, including windows, molding, and hardware.
• Inspecting and replacing damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Collaborating with other construction workers, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure proper installation of fixtures.
• Following safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
