Qualifications:

• Previous experience in upholstery or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in upholstery techniques, fabric cutting, sewing, and furniture restoration.
• Keen attention to detail for precision in fabric cutting and fitting.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for using upholstery tools and equipment.
• Ability to work with different fabrics and materials creatively to achieve desired furniture aesthetics.
• Capability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions during the upholstery process.

Job Description:

• Skilled in the art of furniture upholstery, including reupholstering chairs, sofas, and other furniture items.
• Cutting and sewing fabric to fit furniture frames, ensuring precision and attention to detail in the upholstery process.
• Adding padding, springs, or cushioning materials for comfort and support in furniture pieces.
• Repairing and restoring old or damaged furniture by replacing worn-out or torn upholstery.
• Selecting appropriate fabrics, leather, or other materials based on design requirements and customer preferences.
• Proficient in using various upholstery tools, such as staple guns, scissors, sewing machines, and other hand tools.
• Inspecting finished pieces for quality, ensuring proper fitting, alignment, and overall appearance.
• Communicating with clients to understand their preferences, providing recommendations, and delivering quality service.
