Maintenance Mechanic

Qualifications:

• 5 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic specializing in generators and light vehicles is preferred.
• Proficiency in maintaining and repairing generators, light vehicles, engines, electrical systems, and associated tools and equipment.
• Capability to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform effective repairs on generators and vehicles.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance practices to enhance the longevity and reliability of generators and vehicles.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports related to maintenance activities for generators and vehicles.
• Commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols while working on generators and vehicles.
• Ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Capability to collaborate with a team, communicate effectively, and coordinate maintenance efforts for generators and light vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on generators, light vehicles, and associated mechanical equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections, servicing, and repairs on generators to ensure functionality and reliability during operation.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles (such as cars, vans, or trucks) including engines, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Identify, diagnose, and rectify issues with generators and light vehicles, performing necessary adjustments, repairs, or replacements.
• Execute scheduled maintenance tasks for generators and vehicles to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory for generators and light vehicles.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while conducting maintenance activities on machinery and vehicles to ensure a safe work environment.
• Conduct testing and inspections on generators and vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments or external service providers to address maintenance issues and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
