Diesel Engine Mechanic

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in repairing diesel engine, mechanical equipment for ship repair and power generation
  • Working knowledge in repairing and overhauling different type of marine diesel engines
  • Marine/Offshore/Power Generation Industry preferably

Job Description:

  • Required to handle engine repair
  • Troubleshoot and repair different engines on assigned vessels, power plant, and different locations
    offshore and onshore
  • Troubleshoot and overhaul different mechanical equipment (such as but not limited to Gearboxes, Pumps, Valves, CPP, Thruster) when it’s required
  • Determine specific parts, tools, equipment, and material requirements for each task
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company procedures, standard operating procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
