Job Description:
- Ensures that plant operations are in compliance with operating guidelines and that treated water is safe and acceptable in distribution system.
- Record operational data, meter, and gauge readings on specified forms at specified frequencies
- Operates machines and equipment to purify and clarify water for beverages and for industrial use and also responsible to controls electric motors, pumps, and valves to regulate flow of raw water into treating plant.
- Handle specified amounts of chemicals as per instruction, such as chlorine, ammonia, and lime into water or adjusts automatic devices that admit specified amounts of chemicals into tanks to disinfect, deodorize, and clarify water.
