Aureol Global Connections is seeking an experienced HGV Electrician/Mechanic to join its transport and vehicle maintenance operations in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy goods vehicle (HGV) electrical and mechanical systems while ensuring vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.
HVG ELECTRICIAN/MECHANIC
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults in heavy vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and electronic diagnostics.
- Experience with HGV maintenance and repair is required.
- Volvo and Scania experience is preferred.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to take the IELTS examination if successfully passing the employer’s online interview.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in HGV vehicles.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain vehicle electrical systems, wiring, and electronic components.
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and diagnostic information.
- Perform electronic diagnostics using appropriate testing equipment.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on vehicle systems including electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Identify faults, recommend repairs, and complete corrective actions efficiently.
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with company procedures, safety standards, and manufacturer requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
