CONTRACT MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10+ years experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong communication skills.
- Extensive experience in contract management within large-scale industrial or offshore projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, execution, and claims management processes.
- Ability to manage risks and optimize contractual opportunities during project execution.
- Experience coordinating with project managers, legal teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Familiarity with industrial risk management methodologies and project governance standards.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, partner agreements, and tender documentation processes.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports and support corporate and project leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all contract management activities during negotiation and execution phases.
- Ensure implementation of company policies, Golden Rules, and Silver Guidelines.
- Manage contract resources, staffing, and capability development within the project team.
- Review and supervise compliance with contractual terms, guidelines, and standards.
- Prepare contract management reports for project and corporate leadership.
- Collect, analyze, and document lessons learned and project feedback.
- Apply industrial risk management practices to minimize contractual and operational risks.
- Review bid summaries, legal analyses, and tender documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct contract induction meetings and ensure proper documentation control.
- Assist project managers in execution strategy, change management, and claims resolution.
- Draft project-specific contracts for goods, services, and subcontractors.
- Identify high-risk subcontractors and vendors for monitoring and control.
- Participate in project budget reviews and financial coordination activities.
- Ensure proper filing and management of all contractual documentation.
- Support legal teams in preliminary litigation and dispute-related documentation.
