Gastronomica General Trading Company is seeking experienced and dependable Steward Supervisors to oversee stewarding operations and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and operational efficiency within the Food & Beverage department in Kuwait. The successful candidate will lead stewarding staff and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in stewarding, kitchen operations, or hospitality supervision is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to manage stewarding staff and maintain efficient workflow in kitchen and dining operations.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced and multicultural hospitality environments.
• Physically fit and capable of handling operational demands.
• Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or large Food & Beverage operations is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily stewarding operations and ensure cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and service areas.
• Lead and monitor stewarding staff to maintain operational efficiency and hygiene standards.
  Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and food preparation areas.
• Monitor inventory and proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate with kitchen and restaurant teams to support smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and sanitation regulations.
• Conduct inspections to maintain cleanliness and identify areas requiring improvement.
• Assist in training stewarding staff on cleaning procedures, workplace safety, and operational standards.
• Report maintenance issues, equipment problems, and operational concerns to management promptly.
