Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Barista or in a related food and beverage role.
- Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage presentation.
- Skilled in preparing espresso-based beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos, cortados, and other specialty coffee drinks.
- Experience in producing silky microfoam and high-standard latte art.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and product quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare espresso-based beverages including lattes, cappuccinos, cortados, and other specialty drinks with consistency and quality.
- Create silky microfoam and maintain high standards of latte art presentation.
Welcome guests warmly to the coffee bar and provide excellent customer service. - Build customer relationships by recognizing and remembering regular customers and their preferred orders.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of espresso machine groups, steam wands, drainage trays, and coffee equipment to maintain quality and hygiene standards.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, takeaway cups, and other café supplies.
- Coordinate and place requisitions for café supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation within the coffee preparation area.
- Follow company standards for food safety, hygiene, and beverage quality at all times.
