Job Talent Belgium is seeking an experienced and hands-on CNC Programmer/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical engineering or CNC machining, practical experience in milling and turning, and proficiency with CAM software. This role requires a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to optimize production efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.

CNC PROGRAMMER/ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Male, 25–45 years old.
• Technical education in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or CNC machining (vocational or bachelor level).
• Several years of hands-on CNC experience in milling and/or turning operations.
• Strong understanding of tools, materials, speeds, and feeds.
• Proficiency with CAM software such as Fusion 360 or Mastercam.
• Experience with production automation (bar feeders, robots, cobots, APL).
• Knowledge of quality control and measuring tools.
• Basic CNC machine maintenance skills.
• Practical, hands-on mindset with responsibility for production outcomes.
• Good communication skills and proactive attitude toward process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (milling and/or turning) independently.
• Troubleshoot CNC machine issues to minimize downtime and optimize production.
• Apply knowledge of tools, materials, speeds, and feeds to ensure high-quality machining.
• Utilize CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam) for part programming and process planning.
• Perform quality checks using measuring tools and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Conduct basic maintenance on CNC machines, including lubrication and condition monitoring.
• Work with automation equipment such as bar feeders, robots, cobots, and APL systems.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve workflow, efficiency, and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of machine settings, programs, and production notes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
