Our employer Franklin Smith Limited is in need of the following:

Water Mains Installer

Qualifications:

Experience in water mains installation or civil pipe construction.
Strong background in HDPE butt welding, electrofusion, and pressure testing.
Experience in large bore pipe installation, trenching, and civil site conditions.
Ability to read and work from civil drawings and plans.
Strong English communication skills.
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor construction environments.

Responsibilities:

Install water mains pipelines on civil construction sites.
Perform HDPE pipe welding using butt fusion and electrofusion techniques.
Conduct pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning of water mains systems.
Carry out tie-in works, including live network connections where required.
Read and interpret civil engineering drawings and installation plans.
Work in deep trenching and shoring environments as part of pipeline installation.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure project efficiency.
