Water Mains Installer

Qualifications:

• Experience in water mains installation or civil pipe construction.
• Strong background in HDPE butt welding, electrofusion, and pressure testing.
• Experience in large bore pipe installation, trenching, and civil site conditions.
• Ability to read and work from civil drawings and plans.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor construction environments.

Responsibilities:

• Install water mains pipelines on civil construction sites.
• Perform HDPE pipe welding using butt fusion and electrofusion techniques.
• Conduct pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning of water mains systems.
• Carry out tie-in works, including live network connections where required.
• Read and interpret civil engineering drawings and installation plans.
• Work in deep trenching and shoring environments as part of pipeline installation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure project efficiency.
