FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years work experience
- Graduate of Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related Field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in both financial accounting and financial analysis roles, with strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis techniques.
- Proficient in MYOB accounting software, advance excel skills. Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting standards and business operations.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks & meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Comfortable working across different departments and communicating financial data to non financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing financial needs or priorities.
- Ability to maintain high accuracy in accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presenting findings and advertising management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all financial accounting activities including preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards in all financial reporting.
- Supervise and guide the team responsible for fixed asset management, inventory control, and cost control functions.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and coordinate regular physical asset verifications and reconciliations.
- Oversee inventory accounting processes to ensure accurate recording, stock reconciliation, and valuation.
- Monitor and analyse cost control measures to identify variances and recommend improvements.
- Conduct financial analysis to forecast trends, assess financial performance, and support strategic planning
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure timely completion with minimal findings.
