COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Technical Diploma (ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in HVAC service (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting)
- Experience in commercial refrigeration systems, chillers, VRV/DX systems, and industrial refrigeration (including ammonia plants)
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and refrigeration systems
- Basic knowledge of HVAC controls and schematic reading
- Ability to work independently at customer sites
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- Familiarity with service reporting tools (manual or digital)
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration system faults in commercial applications
- Support servicing of air-cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, VRV/DX systems, and industrial refrigeration systems
- Read and interpret HVAC schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals
- Ensure efficient and safe operation of refrigeration systems
- Prepare service reports using manual or digital reporting tools
- Provide technical support at customer sites
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
