QC Engineer

Rashid Contracting Est. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QC (Quality Control) Engineer to ensure that all construction works, especially in roads and bridges projects, meet the required quality standards. The candidate will monitor, inspect, and verify project execution according to specifications and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant academic or technical qualification (degree, diploma, or certification) in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Preferably 10 years of total work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries
  • Strong background in roads and bridges construction
  • Holder of a valid driving license

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures for projects
  • Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards
  • Prepare inspection reports, test reports, and quality documentation
  • Conduct materials testing and verify lab results
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors on quality matters
  • Identify non-conformance issues and propose corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and site observations
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methods, and procedures
  • Experience with materials testing and construction inspection
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
