Painter (Multi-Craft)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Painter (Multi-Craft) with a solid background in painting techniques and materials.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, mixing, and application techniques for various types of paints and finishes.
• Experience in performing basic repairs such as drywall patching, light carpentry, or minor plastering.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with different materials and surfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Familiarity with safety standards for painting and general construction work.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing labor-intensive tasks.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or emergency call-outs as required

Responsibilities:

• Apply paints, stains, and varnishes to various surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and furniture.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching holes, and applying primers.
• Mix and match paints to achieve the desired color and finish.
• Inspect and maintain the quality of paint finishes and touch-ups.
• Assist with drywall repairs, light carpentry, and basic construction tasks when needed.
• Ensure that painting work is completed according to company standards, customer specifications, and safety protocols.
• Operate painting equipment such as spray guns, rollers, and brushes, as well as maintenance tools for repairs.
• Follow safety standards for handling and using paints, solvents, and chemicals.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed.
• Assist other team members with multi-craft projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Ensure that all surfaces are properly prepped and finished before handing over the work.
