Carpenter (Multi-Craft)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter with multi-craft expertise in woodworking, framing, and finishing.
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials, including plywood, MDF, hardwood, and laminates.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for carpentry-related repairs and installations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with other basic construction and maintenance tasks, such as drywall, minor plumbing, and electrical work, is a plus.
• Good understanding of safety regulations in carpentry and construction.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and independently when required.
• Physically fit, able to lift heavy materials, and work in a variety of environments.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or on-call schedules if necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair wooden structures, doors, windows, flooring, cabinets, and furniture in residential, commercial, and retail settings.
• Perform carpentry work related to framing, trim work, wood paneling, and structural installations.
• Inspect and assess damaged wooden fixtures and structures and perform necessary repairs.
• Use various tools and materials to craft or modify wood items, including saws, drills, sanders, and other carpentry equipment.
• Work with other trade teams (plumbers, electricians, MEP technicians) to complete multi-craft projects.
• Follow building codes and safety regulations to ensure the quality and safety of all carpentry work.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work completed and materials used.
• Assist in the installation of other non-wooden materials (e.g., drywall, flooring, minor plumbing or electrical work) when necessary.
• Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to meet deadlines and quality standards.
