Low Current Technician

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Low Current Technician or similar role.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and intercom systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and system schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and low current regulations.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or on-call duties if required.
  • Certification or formal training in low current systems or electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low current systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and intercom systems.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all low current systems.
  • Monitor system performance and diagnose and repair faults promptly.
  • Assist in testing and commissioning of newly installed low current systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Coordinate with the facilities management team for system upgrades and projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when needed.
