CHEF (A la Carte)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Strong work ethic a customer focus and the ability to work unsupervised
• Understand and implement any special dietary needs of guests
• Mature behavior and the ability to cope with pressure
• Excellent organizational and inter- personal leadership skills
• Ability to work in remote location
• Bakery/ Pastry experience is advantage

Responsibilities:

• In consultation with Resort Manager, have the ability of the kitchen including the planning and the preparation of the food and kitchen activities
• Monitor and control food and equipment inventory on a weekly/ monthly basis
• Ensure stock rotation procedure are followed
• Understand and follow proper food hygiene and storage protocols, manage OH&S procedure in the kitchen
• Maintain and develop courteous professional and respectful relationship with staff and customers
