OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

  • Relevant academic or technical qualification (degree, diploma, or certification) in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
  • Preferably 10 years of total work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries
  • Strong background in roads and bridges construction
  • Holder of a valid driving license

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor OH&S policies and procedures on site
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
  • Identify hazards and recommend corrective measures
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and industry best practices
  • Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for site personnel
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare reports
  • Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance activities
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure a safe work environment

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards
  • Experience in risk assessment, safety inspections, and incident investigation
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Ability to enforce safety policies effectively
  • Attention to detail and proactive approach to hazard prevention
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
