SHIP MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Experience with ballast, bilge, oil, and fuel systems.
• Proficient in deck equipment, cargo systems, and onboard appliances.
• Knowledge of boilers, water systems, refrigeration, air conditioning, and lifeboat engines

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repair of ship structures’, engines and technical systems.
• Servicing of shaft lines, steering gears, pumps, compressors and generators.
• Organize and control the maintenance ship structures and technical equipment in compliance with labor safety standard.
• Repair of attachments of main engines and diesel generators (fuel and oil pumps, turbines, coolers) mechanical part of deck mechanisms and ship cargo devices.
• Main auxiliary engines (including emergency generators) with a technical equipment servicing them, shaft lines (including
• Reduction gears and disconnect clutches) stern tube devices, propellers and mechanical part of the steering gear.
