ASSISTANT MANAGER – PIPE

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong background in shipbuilding, offshore, or oil & gas fabrication.
  • Excellent knowledge of piping standards (ASME, ASTM, API, etc.), welding, hydrotesting, and commissioning.
  • Proficient in MS Office, planning software (MS Project/Primavera), and ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overall management of pipe fabrication and installation activities for shipbuilding, ship repair, conversion, and offshore projects.
  • Review project scope, specifications, and drawings to plan piping work in coordination with engineering and planning departments.
  • Supervise and coordinate foremen, supervisors, and subcontractors to execute work as per standards.
  • Monitor daily progress and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
  • Ensure the availability of required materials, equipment, drawings, and work packs for scheduled activities.

  • Working Hours: 8 Hours per day / 48 hours in a week
  • Overtime: Overtime hours will be applicable after 48 working hours in week
