QA/QC Engineer (Fabrication Shop)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 10 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• With a strong emphasis on audit and documentation. Implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS). In-depth knowledge in
  developing quality manuals, work procedures, and relevant formats, including coordination for necessary approvals.
• Preparation and updating of risk assessments in compliance with QMS requirements. Thorough understanding of ASME / AWS / BS EN codes
  related to fabrication and testing.
• Assisting the QA/QC team in the preparation of WPS and PQR as per applicable codes and specifications. Random verification of material
  acceptance reports cleared by QC Engineers.
• Preparation of Fabrication Shop Quality Plans / Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) in coordination with the concerned engineers, including obtaining
  approvals and ensuring implementation.
• Preparation of ITPs based on work order routing instructions. Preparation of Method Statements. Preparation of audit plans. Reviewing reports
  related to quality control activities.
• Assisting in the preparation of Manufacturer Data Record Books for newly fabricated items, after completion of job activities and receipt of QC
  records.
• Taking action to prevent recurrence of non-conformities through designated channels and ensuring proper control of further processing.
• Active participation in internal and external audits, client audits, and pre-inspection meetings related to VGE’s fabrication shop.
