Skilled Meat Worker (Beef Meat Factory/Processing)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a SKILLED MEAT WORKER.
- Must be reliable, physically fit and willing to work as part of a team
- Understand the importance of personal hygiene, attention to detail and following procedures
- Have the right to work in Australia
- Have previous knife experience
- Must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if required
- Have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process
- Good communication skills in English. Physically fit
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety and Quality procedures
- Ability to work within a team environment with the ability to take direction
- Good communication skills essential
- Demonstrated integrity and good presentation
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Performing general slaughtering / boning / slicing / sawing duties
- High focus & attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Install and use test equipment
- Perform mechanical fitting and technician tasks
- Install and configure accessories
- Assemble and disassemble heavy and mobile earthwork machinery
- Conduct diagnostic testing and test drive
- Repairing damaged equipment parts
