DRAINLAYER/PIPELAYER

Qualifications:

• Knowledge in the rehabilitation of old sewage systems and the construction of new ones.
• Experience in wearing hazmat suits and breathing apparatus is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:

• Rehabilitating the underground sewerage system that ranges from 1.2 to 1.8 meters high.
• Excavate trenches and pits with hand tools to the desired depth.
• Place and compact backfill material around pipes and structures.
• Works as a drainlayer/pipelayer in sewerage systems in a civil industry setting.
• Will do pipe laying, drain laying at various construction sites.
• Will work as an underground mainline sewage pipe layer.
• Installing below‐ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems
