Auto Electrician

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Auto Electrician, with a focus on 12V systems and vehicle electrical work.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform assembly and installation tasks.
• Experience in the 4×4 market is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and assembly instructions.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools for electrical and mechanical work.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Install, wire, and test 12V battery management systems, inverters, and vehicle central locking systems.
• Perform mechanical assembly, fitting, and installation of ute tray systems and 4×4 accessories.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and components as required.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in good condition.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve assembly and installation processes.
• Physical work involving lifting, bending, and the use of tools.
• Collaboration with a team in a workshop environment.
• Occasional tight deadlines requiring focused and efficient work.
